Effective November 1, 2010, HP discontinued the HP LaserJet C4149A, C4150A, C4151A, C4152A, C4153A and CE256A print cartridges from its LaserJet supplies portfolio.
In November 2009 HP discontinued the following toners/packs for the printers
• C3909X HP LaserJet 5si and 8000 series printers
• 92298X HP LaserJet 4, 4m, 4 Plus, 4m Plus, 5, 5m, 5n and 5se printers
• C4127D HP LaserJet 4000 and 4050 series printers
• C9720AD HP Color LaserJet 4600 and 4650 series printers
In November 2007 HP discontinued the following toners/packs for the printers
• 92275A HP LaserJet IIIp, HP LaserJet IIp Plus, and HP LaserJet IIp series printers
• 92291A HP LaserJet IIIsi and HP LaserJet 4si series printers
• 92295A HP LaserJet IId, HP LaserJet III, HP LaserJet IIId, and HP LaserJet II series printers
• C3900A HP LaserJet 4V and HP LaserJet 4MV
Of course, compatible HP toners for the above are still available to keep your printer running! Some of the older HP printers just keep on keeping on and of course, some people have systems that will only print to the older HP Laserjet printers

Epson have released the new Stylus Photo TX700W network-ready multifunction printer. What a great printer, with many features including
- 2.5″ image screen
- Scanning direct to memory card (how much time will that save!)
- Print direct to printable CDs and DVDs
- Border free prints
- Dual paper trays
- Optional duplex unit
- Pictbridge and memory card support
- Fast 40 page per minute printing
- 5760dpi printing
Designed mainly for office environments, it plugs straight into the network or can be used with 802.11b/g WiFi wireless networking. It also lets you keep printing even if one or two inks have run out (obviously a plus in office environments, some printers grind to a halt when one ink is empty!).
Prints are rated to last for 200 years using the correct Epson TX700W Inks and Epson provide a 12 month return to base warranty – you may want to purchase a seperate onsite warranty if you can’t afford to be without your printer for long.
Overall a good printer for volume printing, scanning and copying in an office environment or a busy home.

Lots of people get confused with this one and the Q1339A toner. The Q1339A toner only fits in the HP Laserjet 4300 series printers.
The Q1338A toner fits in the HP 4200, 4200n, 4200tn, 4200dtn, 4200tns and 4200tnsl printers.
Many HP toners also have a high capacity version, the Q1338A doesn’t as it already has a quite large yield of 12,000 pages.
